Dear everyone,

After the not-so-great news about the delayed production, I asked NSF to at least send me the components that they had ready, and soooo… I’m happy to say that you can all take a first look at the finalized cards of Olympus Races!

They. Look. and Feel. GREAT!

• The white is not ‘fluorescent’, but rather ‘creamy’
• The linen texture and rounded edges really give the cards a classy look-and-feel
• The colors are perfect – they pop out without being overly saturated
• The text is thinner than in my prototype prints, so it remains perfectly readable but becomes more elegant
• The cards are quite sturdy (good stock), but flexible (not too thick) and super easy to shuffle (linen texture)

All in all, a bit of positive news and a hint that, like with all good things, a little patience goes a long, long way. I can say that if the quality of these cards is an indication of the rest of the components, it will be a beautiful, high-quality, sturdy product 🙂
